Connecting People. Fostering Partnerships:
The Muslim Alliance of Indiana was founded in 2001 in the aftermath of 9/11. MAI is a nonprofit organization and is registered as a 501(c)(3) organization based in Indianapolis, Indiana. MAI is dedicated to connecting Muslim Hoosiers. MAI provides a common platform for presenting Islam, supporting Muslim Hoosier communities, developing educational, social and outreach programs and fostering good relations with other religious communities, and civic and service organizations.
Dedicated to Muslim Hoosiers participating in making Indiana stronger:
We provide direct services to people of all faiths through our programs. We provide opportunities for Muslim Hoosiers to partner with interfaith organization and to become more civically engaged. We strongly believe that an engaged Muslim Hoosier will make Indiana a better more vibrant place.
