MAI Annual Convention

In 2007, the Muslim Alliance of Indiana established its annual convention.  The Annual Convention is just one way for Muslim Hoosiers to connect with each other as well as interfaith partners.  The first event was held in 2007 and the Indianapolis Star marked it as a "coming of age" for Muslim Hoosiers.  The Indianapolis Star editorial board as a result of the successful convention authored an opinion in which they took the position that: Myths must give way to acceptance of Indiana's Muslims.

These events are important events for the Muslim Hoosier community and mark its growth over the past few hundred years.
